New Scouting Opportunities at Wild Florida!
Looking to earn belt loops or merit badges for Camping, Fishing, Fish and Wildlife Management, Reptile and Amphibian Study, or some other type of wildlife or environmental study? There’s no better place to bring your Boy Scout troop than Wild Florida!
A visit to Wild Florida is the opportunity of a lifetime to explore the Florida Everglades, more than 200 animals in our Wildlife Park, and one of the oldest working cattle operations in Florida.
Hear about first-hand encounters with the animals that call these waters home from our air boat captains.
Our animal keepers are a wealth of knowledge about the habits and activities of the 200+ animals in our Wildlife Park. And don’t forget about the more than 75 alligators – from 6 feet to 13.5 feet long – that live in our Wildlife Park too!
Your pack or troop may want try their hand at cooking over a campfire, or our classically-trained chef can whip up something for your hungry scouts at the Chomp House Grill.
Our air-conditioned Cypress Ballroom can accommodate up to 220 people, and we also have a 1,500-square-foot covered area on the shore of Lake Cypress for special unit events.
A minimum of 20 scouts for any activity is required, but we can also accommodate larger groups of dozens of scouts at Wild Florida. Day Packages start at only $25.00 per scout, and Overnight Packages start at $30.00 per scout. For more information on rates, download the current rate form here.
