The 2010 Popcorn season is going to be amazing.  John Rader, the Fort Gatlin District Popcorn Supreme Allied General, has worked up many new and great tactics to maximize the scouts in Fort Gatlin District's sales.  Make sure your unit has turned in their commitment form.  To commit your unit to sell popcorn please click here.

2010-2011 Training

Every Scout deserves a trained leader.  In Fort Gatlin District we want every Scout leader to be trained and to accomplish this we are offering numerous training opportunities for you.  If you are a Cub Scout Leader you can complete all four of the required trainings (Youth Protection, This is Scouting, Cub Scout Fast Start and Cub Scout Leader Specifics) online at www.myscouting.org.

2010-2011 District Meetings

     1.  The Fort Gatlin District Roundtable has something for everyone so gather up all of the leaders in your unit and join the fun! This is your opportunity to network with some of the most experienced leaders in our District where you can get the specific help you need to provide a great program for the scouts in your Den, Pack, Troop or Crew.  Roundtable is held the third Thursday of each month starting at 7:00PM at the Delaney Street Baptist Church (1919 Delaney Ave, Orlando, FL).  Please click here for directions from your location  

     2.  The Fort Gatlin District Commissioner Staff meeting is held the first Thursday of each month. For questions regarding this meeting please contact the Fort Gatlin District Commissioner, Brian Bauer at scouterb3@gmail.com or 407-443-4878.

     3.  The Fort Gatlin District Committee meeting is held the second Thursday of each month at the Beardall Center in Orlando, FL.  For questions regarding this meeting please contact the Fort Galtin District Chair, Tom Wallace at wallacet@ix.netcom.com or 407-716-9044.
