2019 University of Scouting…Registration opens on Nov. 15…

We are almost there, to that time of year everyone is waiting for, the Opening of Registration for University of Scouting on 15 November 2018.

This all-day training event on 26 January 2019, is one of the most anticipated scouting activities every year and this year will be another outstanding day of training, fellowship with scouters from all around the area, and fun! We will be offering over 150 classes this year for all scouts 11 and up. For those 11-17, there are great opportunities to learn new skills in the Youth College. If you are 14-17, you also have the Venturing College to investigate for additional advance level courses. For Adults, 18 and older, there are a multitude of options to select from. We offer training in the areas of Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, General Studies and Commissioner Studies, that help to expand your knowledge in anyone of these areas or introduce you to something new. One great way to enjoy the day and make each year special, is working towards a degree in a specific area of study. We offer everything from an Associate Degree all the way up to an Advance PhD Degree, that both adults and youth can earn. This year lunch is included with registration and we will again have an outstanding Mid-Way for you to investigate and learn even more of what is available in the area and going on within the Council. So, plan to join us this year at University of Scouting and look for information packages at November Roundtable. Again, remember the two-key dates, 15 November 2018 for registration and 26 January 2019 for the event. Hope to see everyone there.
