Eagle Scout Info

Life Scouts have a lot to accomplish on their way to earning the rank of Eagle Scout.  This information is provided to assist in the process.  It is the responsibility of the Eagle Candidate to follow the National BSA requirement and use the most up to date Eagle Scout Workbook, found at the following link:

https://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/BoyScouts/AdvancementandAwards/EagleWorkbookProcedures.aspx

To become an Eagle Scout, you must complete the Eagle Rank Requirements in your Scout Handbook, your Eagle Project AND a minimum of 21 Merit Badges [13 are required (Silver Boarder badges); The remaining 8 are electives (Green Boarder badges)].  This must be completed before your 18th birthday.  The Eagle Board of Review may take place UP TO 3 months after your 18th birthday.  Extensions are EXCEPTIONALLY rare and Scouts should always plan their projects and badges to be completed EARLY.  Leave yourself at least a few months ‘cushion’ in your planning.
