Three Rivers November Roundtable Follow-Up

Hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving with friends & family.

Recharter
Monday the 21st was our big night to turn in recharters early! Thank you to the 22 units that were able to complete the task. Our Commissioner Staff remain ready & available to help you finish up before the December 31st deadline. Those that finished their work had the fun task of throwing pies at our District Commissioner Fred and District Director Halvern. Gloria has the photos, can’t wait to share the fun times.

Electronic Sign-In
55 individuals once again used the electronic sign-in sheets. Remember to qualify for your Training Knot (Den Leader, Unit Leader, Scout Leader or Scouters Key) you must attend University of Scouting OR at least 4 Roundtables in the current calendar year. Be sure to recognize your leaders for their outstanding work & dedication through awards!

Friends of Scouting
Has officially kicked off for the 2017 year. Through Friends of Scouting (FOS) we are able to provide program to thousands of youth throughout Central Florida. By partcipiating in the annual fund raising campaign we can help guarantee that our facilities & program will be here for another year. Our District was one of two districts in our Council who hit their FOS goals for a 2nd year in a row!!

This year you have the opportunity to EARN 10% back if your unit has met their yearly goal. That money goes DIRECTLY into your unit account at Council. Learn more at your upcoming FOS presentation. http://cflscouting.org/support-scouting/friends-of-scouting/
