Marketing Award of Excellence

 

Description: The Central Florida Council Marketing Award of Excellence is for individual Scouts and for Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships.  The award is designed to encourage Scouts to share all the good things they do with their local media such as T.V., radio, social media, and newspapers.

How to Apply:  A Scout or unit will submit the online application form along with a copy of the media that was published.

Recognition Participation – Scouts and units who apply will receive a certificate along with a special streamer for their unit flag.

Quarterly – Each quarter a unit and individual Scout will be selected in the categories of:

1.    Best Community Service Project

2.    Best Scouting Adventure

3.    Best Scout Achievement

4.    Best Community Partnership

Winners will receive a specialty patch for each member of their unit.

Annual – Each year winners of each category will be considered for the Best Overall Marketing Award of Excellence.  This winner will receive a custom-made trophy and will have their unit number listed on a continual plaque on the Council’s website.  The trophy will be presented at the annual Central Florida Council Recognition Banquet in May in which the recipient will receive two seats.
